How do I get started with Lucky Moi?

Download the app from the App Store, create an account, and answer the 27 onboarding questions about yourself. Then search for your partner by username and send a connection request. Once they accept, you're ready to start your journey together.

How does the free trial work?

New users get a 16-day free trial with full access to all premium features. You won't be charged during the trial period. If you want to continue after the trial, you'll automatically be subscribed at $19.99/month. You can cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, not through the Lucky Moi app. To cancel:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap "Subscriptions"
4. Tap "Lucky Moi"
5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You can also manage subscriptions directly in the App Store app.

Do both partners need a subscription?

Yes. After the free trial, both partners must maintain active Premium subscriptions to continue using the app. This ensures both of you have full access to all features, including AI-generated questions, challenges, gift finder, and date planner.

How do weekly check-ins work?

Every week, you'll answer five reflective questions about your life, feelings, and experiences. Before your responses are used to generate questions for your partner, you'll review them and choose what to share. This gives you full control over your privacy while still enabling personalized AI features.

What happens to my check-in responses?

Your check-in responses are stored securely and used to generate personalized questions and challenges. You control what becomes visible to your partner—before each week's check-in is processed, you'll review and select which content can be used for questions. Content you don't share remains private to you.

How do the knowledge games work?

The app generates 20 multiple-choice questions each week based on your partner's profile and shared check-in responses. These questions test how well you know each other. Answer correctly to maintain your "knowledge score" or lose points for incorrect answers. It's designed to be fun while encouraging you to pay closer attention to your partner.

What are weekly challenges?

Every week, the AI generates a relationship challenge tailored to your profiles and relationship dynamics. These are action-oriented prompts designed to encourage real-world connection—things like "plan a surprise date focused on their hobby" or "write them a letter about what you admire most." Challenges help you move beyond the app into meaningful experiences together.

How does the Gift Finder work?

The Gift Finder analyzes your partner's profile, interests, and recent check-ins, then uses AI and web search to suggest thoughtful, personalized gift ideas. You'll get specific recommendations with links to where you can purchase them. It's especially helpful for birthdays, anniversaries, or "just because" moments.

How does the Date Planner work?

The Date Planner creates personalized date ideas based on your shared interests, location, and preferences. It provides detailed itineraries with timing, activities, and even maps to help you navigate. Whether you want a quiet evening or an adventure-filled day, the AI tailors suggestions to what works for you both.

What are the daily quotes?

Every morning at the same time, all Lucky Moi users receive the same inspirational quote. It's a small moment of shared reflection across the community. The quotes are carefully curated to be warm, direct, and emotionally intelligent—designed to start your day with intention.

Can I connect with more than one partner?

No. Lucky Moi is designed for committed romantic relationships, and you can only be connected to one partner at a time. If you disconnect from a partner and connect with a new one, some features (like check-in history and question generation) will reset.

Is my data secure and private?

Yes. We take privacy seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and only share your information with trusted service providers (Firebase, Anthropic, Apple) as needed to operate the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do you use AI in the app?

We use Anthropic's Claude AI to generate personalized questions, challenges, gift suggestions, and date ideas based on your profiles and check-ins. The AI analyzes your data to create content that's uniquely tailored to your relationship. Your data is processed securely and Anthropic does not use it to train their models.

What if my partner and I are long-distance?

Lucky Moi works great for long-distance relationships. The weekly check-ins, knowledge games, and messaging features help you stay connected emotionally even when you're apart. The Date Planner can even suggest virtual date ideas or plan for when you're reunited.

Can I use Lucky Moi on Android?

Not yet. Lucky Moi is currently available only on iOS (iPhone and iPad). We're focused on delivering the best possible experience on iOS first. If there's enough demand, we may consider an Android version in the future.

What iOS version do I need?

You need iOS 17 or later to use Lucky Moi. This ensures the best performance and access to all features.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

We appreciate bug reports! Please email us at support@match2love.com with:

• A description of the bug
• Steps to reproduce it
• Your device model and iOS version
• Screenshots if possible

We'll investigate and fix it as quickly as possible.

Can I suggest a new feature?

Absolutely! We love hearing from users. Send your feature ideas to feedback@match2love.com. While we can't implement every suggestion, we carefully consider all feedback as we continue building Lucky Moi.

How do I update my profile information?

Open the app and go to Settings > Edit Profile. You can update any of your onboarding responses at any time. Changes will be reflected in future AI-generated content.

Can I see my partner's check-in responses?

Only if they choose to share them with you. Before each week's check-in is processed into questions, your partner reviews their responses and selects what you can see. This privacy control ensures both partners feel comfortable being honest and vulnerable in their reflections.

What happens if I disconnect from my partner?

If you disconnect from your partner:

• You'll both lose access to shared features (questions, challenges, messaging)
• Your check-in history remains private to you
• You can connect with a new partner if desired
• Historical data from the previous connection is not transferred to a new partner
